Community Rules

The ABC Dementia Community and Course aims to provide education, information, support, encouragement, and inspiration, as well as a platform for individuals to share their questions, joys, struggles, and experiences in living with or supporting a loved one with dementia.Supporting someone with dementia can be a challenging and emotional experience, and all Community Members need to follow some basic ground rules for the protection of everyone.By participating in the ABC Dementia Course & Community, you agree to the terms outlined in these Rules.

I agree to respect the privacy of other community members and their information. I will keep all information about other members confidential. I understand that sharing others’ information without their written consent is grounds for cancellation of membership.I understand that each person sharing in the Community is an individual with experiences and beliefs that may not match mine. I agree to treat each member with respect, patience, and tolerance at all times.I will refrain from posting about partisan politics, religion, or potentially inflammatory material. I understand that this is a private community, and posts that detract from the supportive nature of the community may be deleted or moderated at our sole discretion.I understand that ABC Dementia Consulting LLC will take reasonable measures to respect my privacy, but cannot completely guarantee it in every possible situation.I will not post personal information, including my address, phone number, or log-in credentials.I understand that ABC Dementia may remove posts or comments that in their sole discretion are determined to be unsuitable for this community.I understand that the information provided by ABC Dementia Consulting LLC is for educational and informational use only. I understand that ABC Dementia does not provide medical advice.By participating in the ABC Dementia Consulting LLC community, individuals acknowledge and agree that they are solely responsible for any health-related information they choose to post, and hereby indemnify ABC Dementia Consulting LLC from any liability arising from such posts.

Changes to these rules
